The Western
Visayas Agriculture and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (WESVARRDEC-WVSU
Base Agency) is set to conduct a Strategic Planning Workshop (2013-2017) on
November 20-21, 2012 at the Iloilo Grand Hotel. The activity is part of the
consortium’s capability building initiative to streamline its operations,
redirect its focus and priorities and strengthen its synergistic and collaborative
linkages with its partner and member agencies in the light of new national,
regional and institutional research agenda and AFNR (agriculture, forestry and natural
resources) challenges. The 2-day
workshop seeks to set a new trajectory for the consortium as it continues its operations
at its new homebase at West Visayas
State University.
