The Western Visayas Agriculture Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium conducted a "Training on Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Materials Development" last August 11-12, 2016 at the Goducate Training Center, San Miguel, Iloilo. The two-day training was facilitated by Ms. Antonieta J. Arceo of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in Quezon City and was attended by 29 participants from different member institutions of WESVAARRDEC.
The Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs) have available
mature technologies and significant R&D breakthroughs ready for promotion
or dissemination and IEC materials are the useful tools to promote and disseminate
them to target stakeholders. Hence, the training
was conducted to equip the participants with the skill on IEC materials development.
