The 24th Regional Symposium on Research and Development Highlights (RSRDH) is scheduled on October 14, 2014 at the Center for Teaching Excellence, West Visayas State University in Lapaz, Iloilo City. The theme for this year's symposium is "Inclusive Growth Through S&T Utilization." The theme highlights the cascading of socio-economic growth to all sectors and tiers of society through the effective utilization of technology transfer through R&D. This year, the RSRDH is supported in part by the Grants-in-Aid (GIA) Program of the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office VI.
As a major research competition, entries from various consortium member agencies will vie for the best paper award in three categories namely: social science research, natural/biological science research and developmental/technological research. The paper presentations will be conducted in parallel sessions right after the plenary.
